Ember Reed had finally achieved her dream of being a chief stew even at the expense of her personal happiness. Driven by her desire to prove her worth to her father Ember took efficiency to a whole new level.

Finn Pearson, chef extraordinaire, was full of dreams that kept collapsing. Yet there was still a charm and sparkle to him that kept him moving forward.

Miscommunication and an undying love paved the way to some epic hurdles for Ember and Finn whose past came back to hit them in the face. This couple had a constant underlying desire that was kept at arm's length until it combusted. There was no middle ground for this pair and the aftermath of this realization was a complete disaster with an ultimate silver lining. Both Ember and Finn were very likeable in their imperfection.

Kandi Steiner captured life on the service end of a superyacht exceedingly well. Entertaining and complex interactions among the secondary cast kept this work lively and was integral to this story. Ms. Steiner did a great job of conveying all the different personalities in her work and the role they played in moving this story along. The crew dynamics and interactions were fun to watch playout and were often spicy and full of drama.

Working through difficult feelings is a Kandi Steiner talent. Her insight into her characters has provided many emotion charged works that resonate with her audience. Love Overboard was a nice balance of fun and serious, allowing readers to experience a bit of romanc4 and life on a Superyacht in all their glory!
